Cost Estimator in Demolition and Construction in Arlandastad

In the role of cost estimator, you will hold a key position where you are responsible for cost estimation and pricing in both small and large projects within the construction and demolition industry. You will work closely with project managers, site managers, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive cost proposals.

Responsibilities for the cost estimator in core drilling, carbon fiber reinforcement, suspended ceilings, blasting, and injection

• Prepare cost estimates and budget documentation for demolition and construction projects of various sizes
• Analyze tender documents, drawings, technical descriptions, and quantify materials
• Provide quotation documentation to clients and assist in procurement and negotiations
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate cross-functionally internally
• Follow up on estimates in ongoing projects and analyze outcomes for continuous improvements

Requirements and qualifications for the position of cost estimator in construction and demolition

• Relevant education in demolition, construction, civil engineering, or equivalent work experience of 3-5 years
• Experience in cost estimation work within contracting, particularly in demolition, core drilling, or construction
• Good computer skills in estimation or project tools
• Very good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Structured, solution-oriented, and business-minded
• Driver's license (B)
• No criminal record, as our client often works with security-classified projects

Desirable qualities and experiences

• Experience in project economics or project management within demolition/construction
• Knowledge of core drilling, carbon fiber reinforcement, suspended ceilings, blasting, or injection
• Experience working with contracting law or quotation writing
